I live on a horse Farm in the middle of soy bean fields on the Eastern Shore. They call it the Delmarva Peninsula. It is ten or fifteen minutes to town in any direction so it is quiet and peaceful out here.
You can stand out on a clear night and see a billion stars it’s awesome. It’s hard to go into the bigger cities close by, i.e. Washington DC or Baltimore, after being out here for the last 11 years. I guess I have forgotten what city life can be like.
I bought the farm and started working on it to make a place to raise my kids in a nice and safe environment. Everyday I wake up to this sanctuary that I created for myself and my family. I love the Beautiful Sunrises and Waking up and smelling the Flowers.
We didn’t have a dog so I bought the kids some Wolves to raise and listening to them howl every time the city fire alarm goes off or in the middle of the night for no other reason but because they can is kinda cool… I know the bad guys won’t be coming up the lane…lol
The Beautiful wildlife, it changes with every season we have all kinds here, the snow geese are here now!
Working at home in the Barn Building cabinets and furniture working on old cars with my boys! We have plenty of room we built a 3200 sq foot garage – I say “we” because the kids and I built it.
I am sure if you all have followed me for the last few years you know how much I love tearing up the farm with the tractor. Trina thinks I need tractor school ’cause I have hit or run over everything out here but I love playing on the tractor 😀
Best of all… You know they say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a picture or a thousand words could not describe how wonderful living on the farm and raising my wonderful Children here is. .

Ah the peace and freedom and space of the countryside! I was brought up in the countryside, but I now prefer the city as a place to live! (but a city where it is easy to get out into the country, like Birmingham!)
