My favorite fall festival is the leaf festival in the Virginia Mountains.
We went to the festival last weekend and it was so much fun! The turning of the leaves is so beautiful and I love the views from top of near-by mountains, it’s just breathtaking!
The people in Virginia are so very courteous and nice, I really enjoy going there 🙂
While we were that, I somehow got talked into hiking up a mountain. Ont he way up I kept asking people coming down “How Much Longer” the first person said “15 minutes” The second person I asked said “Maybe 15-20 minutes….
after 15 minutes of climbing, I realized I had asked the wrong question. The next passers-by I asked “Is it worth it?” and they said “Oh yes, it’s well worth it” So we continued to climb…
Below is a picture of me on a rock at the edge of the cliff at the top of the mountain. Trina couldn’t take the picture, she just knew the rock was going to fall down the mountain at any time! So Irene took the picture and I was immediately told to get off the rock 😉

Wow, Wolfbernz, the view must be spectacular and well worth the climb. U must feel on top of the world, literally well first because of the great view and secondly for making it up there! Clicks from me, definitely!

Nice picture by the rocks. I took a picture of a friend near a similar sight in Hawaii once (not quite as high though). I couldn’t stand close to the edge like she did. I have this fear of heights that made me “crawl” all the way up. So there I was taking her picture while I was “laying” close to the ground. LOL!
