Our Government

Well, I am goings get my windmill from china, it’s on the boat and so far I’ve heard of no fines! I’m hoping for the best, cross your fingers!

We have all been hearing about the government shut down, heck I thought it wouldn’t effect me. Ha ha jokes on me!
That’s another blog post though.
I’m just not happy with the whole mess and some are out to just make “points”
My first thought is they work for us so as in any business if they can’t do their job I say fire them send their ass home and get some new blood on capital hill that can fix this mess and are willing to work together.
As I watched sixty minutes the other day the analyst on the show is right, a country with no leadership in place that can make its economy strong and prosperous basically is weak, a soft spot for our national security.

We really need some new people with  new vision of where our country should be headed.

My second thought is we should do more in this country to use renewable energy kinetic and solar.
We really need to reduce the use and dependency on fossil fuel.
It should be mandatory if we are to build a new school the it should have a solar field to power it. Gosh they spend millions and the waste!
I really hope we can pull it together

Have a great Tuesday

Jeez, Wolf –

Don’t get me started. At my age I have to watch my blood pressure. The problem I see is that there doesn’t seem to be any leadership from either side of the aisle. Even when I agree with someone I fond myself disliking their all-or-nothing tactics and refusal to compromise. I read somewhere that more and more Americans think there needs to be a third party. I don; know how that happens but somehow the current crop has to be jolted out of their complacency.

Wolf,

I totally agree with your frustration. This lack of leadership is making me crazy. Bud is right as well, both parties seemed to be playing a game of tug of war and no side is willing to budge. Everything comes done to a deadline then things are passed haphazardly because of time constraints.

You will have to tell us sometime how importing works. Are the fines related to timing issues with your orders from China? I don’t know how any of that works.

I have been saying that for years about wind and solar energy. When I lived in Nebraska, I gave money to a group that was creating wind farms in the plains. That part of the country is just the absolute most perfect spot for creating energy with the wind. While they have made some strides, politics still dictate what companies and special interest groups provide energy to the public.

Hi Cheryl

The fines come to play when forms and notification to customs are late or filled out improperly, even an amended form after the ship left the harbor can cause red flags!
I am learning how because everything comes from there anyway, well it seems like it.

ETA on first shipment Oct. 21 so I guess we shall see how it goes.
