Wow, so we are going back to my high school days this is some of my favorite memories… It is hard to just choose one memory 🙂
I attended Beverly Hills High in California. There were a lot of classes to chose from, the school was full of opportunity, so of course I chose one of the harder subjects – Surfing Class. Yes, you read that right…LOL
At 11:30 in the morning we all would head to the beach in Santa Monica, surfboards and beach towels in hand. The surfing instructor would show everyone what to do. I didn’t need the class to surf, I already knew how, but it was a great way to leave school and go to the beach without ditching class and I even got credit for it, go figure… We even had competitions with other schools sometimes. The competitions made it quite exciting because everyone had to participate the good the bad and the, well, yeah – we had one guy who couldn’t carry the board right, let alone be allowed in the water.
Since I was on the swim team this just seemed like the thing to do! This was so much fun we had a great time. Sometimes there would be no surf so we were allowed to just hangout and roam around the beach. I did get an A in the class…LOL I don’t think it was possible to fail this one!
Have a great Tuesday

Hey, Wolf –
An A in surfing … and I thought you were just a computer weenie! I was a swimmer, too … butterfly, freestyle, IM … but there wasn’t any surfing in East Haven CT.
