Were the helicopters just doing some training exercises? Nothing was happening of an exciting nature, was there? Here when military copters are in the area, it means someone escaped, got shot, or needs rescued…or some other BIG event.

I am still wondering what was happening with the choppers?? We have swooping choppers here all the time. I think it goes with living in LA. We are used to it so it is not a big deal.

At least they weren’t firing on you, Wolf. they look like SH-60Rs, a helicopter I’m very familiar with and very capable of launching a torpedo. Do you have your countermeasures ready? 🙂

Yes you are right Bud we were going through an area that is a military zone and they were blowing up all kids of stuff.
I am surprised they let us through!
I believe we just made it in time because when the light is flashing you cannot proceed and must turn back.
The BOOM you would here was incredible.
Countermeasures get out of the way fast!
As far as LA goes Angelbaby I don’t think they fly this type around and fire on things and blow stuff up!
We got to see some really cool stuff but didn’t take photos for fear they might just take our camera away.
We will be spending Thanksgiving in Southport NC. a cute little town 🙂
