So Some Things Are Still Free!

Today my youngest daughter has gone out to get a job and we needed a social security card. Of course I could not find it anywhere and neither could she.

So I sent her on a quest today to get a new Social Security card. She had never been on that side of town (let alone drive herself and go alone) so I was on the phone helping her on her quest to get a new one double checking to make sure she had everything… Thinking it would be like the DMV – she may have to make more then one trip.

Anyway she made it to the social security office and then I realized I had not sent her with any money! I was like OMG this will be it – the second trip!

I asked her if she had any money with her and she asked -“Do they take Visa” I laughed and said, “Honey they are the government they will take whatever you have!”

Update: 3:30 pm, I get the call. I figured she would say she needed something to complete this however I learned today that there are still some services that don’t cost any money and it is free to get a new Social Security Card.

Well after a few power naps I am back to the grindstone having a better time with it all. I am glad all the server stuff went off without a hitch.

I don’t get to write much, all the other sites keep me busy so I hope I don’t bore you with my life as an internet designer and web site builder. I guess I should throw in some photos of the creative wood working I do also, I’ll try to find some photos to share with you all.
