Some of this can be hard to understand but is a must for people who are serious about getting the latest information about your blog or web site. Google Analytics has updated their code for better tracking, but then they are always updating something.
One of the things I find most interesting on Google Analytics is the hot spot overlay, it shows the click percentages of different links on your pages. This help as that’s where your most important content should be. I guess I like all the different overlays 🙂
If you are not using Google Analytics you should really sign up and put the codes on your site, especially if you use Google Adsense, you will be glad you did. This is one of the best tools offered for webmasters for tracking and analyzing your visits etc.
To sum it up Google does a great job in tracking because Google Analytics works hand in hand with Adsence. You can track where you are making your money and see which pages make the most money. You can then use that information to work on those particular pages to monetize them even better. If you are selling a product you can track what page they came into your site on and concentrate on making that a better conversion page.
