Wow this summer has been hot the last month we have barely had any rain. Great fro grass mowing…LOL You would understand the grass joke if you saw how much grass I have to mow.. Acres of it!
So we have a red neck pool, one of those round above ground pools but I don’t really get into using it. I usually go for the nice easy chair in the central air conditioning, a cool drink of juice and the fans running with a computer on my lap working on websites.
A couple weekends ago it was so hot on Sunday I didn’t even go outside. The heat index was 110 and humid.
Not for me that’s for sure. Yep ice cold air conditioner and a cool drink and a peak outside just to remember why I’m not going outside… LOL
This last weekend we to a trip to Assateague Island and played at the beach. Now that was a lot of fun! There was a nice gentle breeze and the water was perfect for cooling off. If you didn’t step in the wild horse poop you were doing great… Yes there are wild horses there and there and over there! It’s a fun place to go because it’s not to over crowded and you can have fun on the long sandy beach. The surfing isn’t So. Cal but it’s pretty good on a swell.

I am glad you had fun on the island, sounds like a fun place to go. Horse poop on the beach …. what the? Wild horses? Where in the world did you go? What kind of horse? If you catch one can you keep it?

One of these days we’ll get down to Assateague, Wolf..on the bucket list..lol. Maybe this winter..hahaha. Sounds like you had a lot of fun and managing to keep cool. Pool sounds great…but I don’t swim and not a fan of water coming above the knees..lol. Stay cool, friend! Clicks!

By the way, how are your windwills doing with all the heat we’ve been having? It’s at least cooled down about 10 degrees than yesterday. Still above 90 though. Anyway, keep cool!
