All this talk about Syria, the government that kills its own people with poison gas, or so our government says. Assad (The Syrian Leader) says he didn’t do it and our government calls liar.
But shouldn’t Obama wait for the UN investigation, or should he just call liar and bomb them?
Before you answer that China and Russia are sitting by in their warships off the coast of Syria, in a friendly manner of course, to watch how we proceed. Hmmm, sounds like a brawl is about to get underway…
Then I saw the portion of the glen beck show
My first thought was YUCK! Then I started to absorb what was being said. Now if all this is true, what the heck are we doing?
Even the Russian government is questioning what and why we are supporting these rebels. Are we going to supply another crazy rebel group? It amazes me how the people in this country seem to turn a blind eye toward this sort of of stuff that goes on. The attitude that it really won’t effect us here, others just don’t have a clue.
In my opinion we really don’t need another war. Our Country is already in a bad place, war isn’t going to help.
My second thought, because of the presence of the Chinese and Russian warships many news sources are referring to the Syrian Crisis as the beginning of WW3. And that is definitely not what I ever wanted to hear.

In tonight’s speech to the Nation Obama has decided to postpone the bombing.
The Syrian government has admitted they have the chemical weapons. The Russians are backing a diplomatic move for the Syrians to give up the weapons and who’s on first!

You know, sometimes the world and government news gets so depressing that I avoid watching them myself. I agree…we don’t need to get involved in Syria. To me it sounds like we’re inviting more attacks. I understand the reasons they give for wanting to use some force but I also believe there are times that we need to leave the aggressors alone. Tough call but I just have to put my faith in God on this one.
